Aqseptence Group Australia supports Townsville Flood Relief through the Australian Red Cross

In February this year the residents of Townsville, in the Australian state of Queensland experienced significant flooding which has been described as a once in a century event. Residents have been left devastated by the floods, having lost their homes, livelihoods and in some cases their lives. The catastrophic floods inundated 82,000 homes at a total cost of $80 million. Farmers were also heavily impacted by the floods, with the cost to the cattle industry alone estimated to be over $1 billion.

In order to assist the residents of Townsville in getting back on their feet, Aqseptence Group Australia will be providing a donation to the Townsville Flood Appeal through the Australian Red Cross. The Australian Red Cross have been providing vital support services to the people of Townsville during the disaster, establishing evacuation centres in the area and deploying emergency personnel to deal with the crisis.

The donation provided by Aqseptence Group Australia will assist the Red Cross in training volunteers, educating the community in preparation for future disasters and assisting Townsville residents with clean-up efforts.
