Data Protection

Thank you for visiting the Aqseptence Group GmbH website. Aqseptence takes the protection of your right to privacy very seriously. Below, we wish to inform about the data which is compiled and used when you visit our site, to what extent this occurs and for which reasons.

Web server logs
In general, you can visit our site without divulging personal information to us. As is common on almost all websites however, the server that hosts our site (hereinafter “web server”) automatically compiles information from you when you access our site. The web server automatically gathers certain information such as parts of your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the sub-pages you have visited, pages you had visited previously, the browser you are using (e.g. Internet Explorer) the operating system you are using (e.g. Windows 7) or the domain name and the address of your internet provider (e.g. 1&1). If one of our web pages uses cookies, the web server also stores this information.

Aqseptence uses Matomo, data protection-friendly open-source software for the statistical evaluation of page views. None of this data is passed to third parties. Matomo uses cookies to make the evaluation possible. The information generated from the cookies about your use of this Internet service is stored on servers belonging to Aqseptence. The IP address is immediately rendered anonymous following compilation and again before being saved, i.e. parts (octets) of the IP address are deleted.

If you do not wish for an anonymous user profile to be created you can withhold consent here. Your visit to this web page is currently being recorded by Matomo web analysis. Please uncheck if you do not wish for your visit to be recorded.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, an online website analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, text files stored on your computer to make it possible to analyse how you use the website. Google Universal Analytics uses _gat cookies. This cookie is used to throttle data request rates. This limits data collection from websites with a high amount of traffic. It expires after 10 minutes. _ga cookies are used to distinguish visitors by assigning a randomly generated number as a client-ID.
They are contained in every page request of a website, and are used to calculate user, session and harvesting data for analytics reports for websites. They generally expire after 2 years. Google Universal Analytics also uses _gid cookies. These store a unique value for every page visited, and updates this information. The information generated by the cookies related to your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
If IP anonymisation has been activated on this website, your IP address will, however, first be truncated by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other countries that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional situations will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the US and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of this website’s operator to analyse your use of this website, to create reports about website activity, and to provide additional services connected with the website and Internet use to the website operator. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
You can prevent cookie storage by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that in such cases you might experience limited functionality of this website. You can also prevent the capture of the data related to your use of the website generated by the cookie (including your IP address) on Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” function. The IP addresses are further processed in truncated form, excluding the possibility of their being linked to any individual. If the data collected from you is found to be of a personal nature, it will be removed and deleted immediately.
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and regularly make improvements to it. The statistical evaluation obtained helps us to improve our website and make it more interesting for you as user. For exceptional cases in which personal data may be transmitted to the USA, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR.
